Samuel Ferro, his stage name being magicSamuel, was born in Bolzano-Bozen on March 13 1988. In 2002, at the age of only 14, he began approaching the world of entertainment, participating as an acting student in several theatre workshops offered to young people in the city. From these first experiences he learned to master the different disciplines of the performing arts, such as acting, diction, improvisation, musical movement and harmony.

After nine years of studies, thanks to a chance meeting with Paola G., he became assistant director at the association “Theatraki” which opened him the doors to the world of theatre pedagogy. He was occupying this position for the following five years, before he started to develop a passion for magic and enrolled at the Magic Arts Club Harry Houdini (since 2016 he is its secretary). Here he learned to master the art of magic, thanks to its school of prestidigitation.

Thanks also to his theatrical background, which is of fundamental importance for being a complete artist, his interest in magic grew more and more and led him over the years to take part in many courses and conferences held by both Italian and foreign artists. All this formed him into a specialist in these arts.

Since 2013 he has been teaching in theatre pedagogy workshops for children outside of school hours for the foundation “U.P.A.D.” and during school time for “Theatraki”. Here he stimulates the expressiveness of the children through both verbal and body language, and fosters the integration and the collaboration with others, as well as their relationship to them. In the end they conclude their journey with a theatre performance.
